CAMPUS ORGANIZATION

Banyak sekali organisasi di kampusku ini, from level faculty until university. From level faculty we know as Pramuka, UFO, BEM KM absoultely and others. And then in the level faculty we know as Foresty Study Club (FSC), IFSA (International Forestry Student's Association), KMIK(Keluarga Mahasiswa Islam Kehutanan) and others. Surely, rugi kalau kita tidak berorganisasi atau mengikuti kegiatan - kegiatan dari masing - masing organisasi yang ada, toh kita bayar uang spp dan uangnya kembali ke kita dalam bentuk lain.
Berikut adalah organization that I joined in 1 year, among other :
1. IFSA (International Forestry Student's association)

What is ifsa ? I will not explain bla bla about ifsa, to know more about ifsa you can look at www.ifsa.net
In this faculty, ifsa isn't BSO (Badan semi otonom), so ifsa tidak belum resmi berdiri sendiri tetapi masih dibawah LEM (Lembaga Eksekutif Mahasiswa) FKT UGM. Many activities that I get from this organization. From the first daily activity as English Club every Friday Afternoon. English Club is practice speaking english capability of student to membahas berbagai isu atau apapun itu bentuknya yang penting ngomong using english, not must perfectly but try to speak in english. To join this organization we must collect 250 point of survival card. The point we get from activities from the local committee as project officer, participant and delegation.
By the way about delegation, I didn't selected the first meeting with other country that called ARM (asian Regional Meeting). The selection of ARM are from make a paper about theme given, presentation and the last interview. May be Allah will give the best for me to join other meeting. I hope I get going to out country as delegation from ifsa. In the 2013 the biggest meeting forestry symposium as IFSS (International Forestry Student's Symposium) will be held in Spain. I hope I will get it. Amin.
I will show my experience when the first upgrading with ifsa. The first upgrading held in Monjali (Monumen Jogja Kembali). As like as upgrading other organization, the upgrading of ifsa started from introducing the organization structure as called 8 team. 8 team consists of president, vice president, treasure, secretary, and 4 head commissions (Development, Language, Media and Fundraising). After that, is moment for know how to organizations as Leadership, Team work, Fundraising, and Time Management. Many information and knoledge that I get it about how to organization as well. finally, the first upgrading is closed by pembagian survical card. We must get 250 until The second upgrading will be held in May.
